Where to Find a Cheap PS3

We all like Games Consoles, I don't need to explain how fun they are. But they can be restrictively expensive for some people, and to find a cheap PS3 for example is not always an easy task.

Firstly, you'll need to decide if you want a new or second hand one. Don't rule out places like eBay if you are after a new one, as you can get them regularly unused. In fact any good retailer will be happy to sell you a new one.

Next you will want to choose your version. There is different hard drive sizes in the older PS3 and now a new version has been released too. - the PS3 Slim which also is offered with different hard drive capacities.

To get a cheap PS3 you should look for the older version with 60Gb hard drive (you will want a hard drive version - trust me). PS3s are generally reliable so getting an old one isn't such a bad decision, whereas an older Xbox 360 for sale will require more thought.

Amazon.com usually have good deals and works as a good benchmark. If you really haven't got much time, want something soon, at a competitive price, then they are nearly always the best bet. If you can find accompanying voucher or coupon codes to lower the price down (a percentage rather than a fixed figure like $20) then it works even better.

Another consideration is what use you intend to get out of your Playstation 3. To use it simply as a cheap Blu-Ray player then you might not want to consider this option. But if you want to use it's gaming capabilities to it's full extent then consider a bundle package.

A bundle will come with other games - at least one. In addition it may also come with an extra controller or a blu-ray movie. If you want to buy games in addition to your PS3 then look for bundles with the game included, it should work out cheaper in total than buying everything separate and is one of the more popular ways to achieve a cheap console.
